  • Candidate must have excellent European background within 5 star hotels and must have worked as Food and Beverage Director within leading 5 star hotels

  • This role is open for all nationalities but the candidate MUST have excellent experience gained in Europe as a Food and Beverage Director within a leading 5 star hotel brand

Our client is managing a well-known 5 star hotel and is about to open another 5 star property soon in 2018 in East Africa. We now require the services of an energetic and dynamic Food and Beverage professional who will focus on all operational activities and manage the the financial performance of each F&B business unit as well as take charge of the pre-opening activities of the new hotel. The candidate will also be responsible for management of brand standards and the overall development of the department's sales and marketing strategies. The candidate will work as a Cluster Director of Food and Beverage.

The candidate MUST have a proven track record in development of concepts, promotion strategies, training and leading the F&B team as well as improving the revenue streams.

You will enjoy a hands-on management role, where you can lead your team to exceptional standards. You will work well as part of a busy team and will have the skills and abilities to work in a multicultural environment.

Key Attributes:

  • Candidate MUST have strong European experience as a Food and Beverage Director working in 5 star hotels across the region
  • Have strong pre-opening experience as well and the creativity to develop new outlet concepts
  • Must have 12 - 15 years’ experience in F&B operations with at least 3 - 5 years of being a Food and Beverage Director with a well-known 5 star hotel company
  • Very social personality who likes to greet/meet guests
  • Must be able to significantly contribute towards achieving KPIs and set goals
  • Exceptional organisational and administration skills to work simultaneously for both hotel properties
  • Develop promotion plans by working closely with the individual property General Manager, Executive Chef, Front office and Sales teams
  • Able to hire, train and coach the workforce and lead by example – must possess outstanding training and mentoring skills
  • Able to train and coach the workforce and lead by example
  • Showcase clear emphasis on quality and maintain excellent guest services at all times
  • Capable enough to work on cost control, budgets and supervise other required details of the department’s financial records
