  • Salary: Up to AUS$130,000

  • Hotel features a fleet of high-end F&B outlets and large function space
  • Candidate MUST have the ability to work and lead a large multi-cultural F&B team
  • Candidate must have exceptional F&B management background across 5 star hotels (preferably within large 5 star city hotels featuring more than 350 keys and more than 5 F&B outlets)
  • We are looking for an F&B Guru with an unwavering understanding / work experience of improving the team spirit and culture

Our client is managing an award-winning and iconic 5 star hotel in Sydney and is well-known for offering high-end services including events and functions. We are presently searching for a Food and Beverage Director who is ready to take up a new challenge and become the next "face of the town".

The candidate will have to manage the overall activities of this exquisite venue and also carry over the business responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presently working as Food and Beverage Director with at least 3 years experience in similar position with a large 5 star city hotel featuring more than 350 rooms and 5 F&B outlets
  • Must have a very good eye for detail with emphasis on quality at all times
  • Must be very hands-on and ‘on the floor’ and showcase a very sociable personality to mingle with the guests
  • Develop promotion plans by working closely with the Executive Chef, Front office and Sales teams
  • Able to maximise client satisfaction with a proven track record
  • Remain responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the delivery of service
  • Manage exclusive VIP functions and events
  • Train the staff to exceptional 5 star standards to ensure quality and consistency
  • Able to mange multiple projects simultaneously and come out with new initiatives
  • Able to successfully communicate to other facets of the business and be able to drive costs and financials
  • Liaise with all levels of staff and management to ensure perfect coordination
  • Good experience in a structured policy driven arena
  • Have a solid understanding of current legislation and OH&S standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment and focus on quality and be very hands-on
  • Showcase commitment to quality and and passion for the position
