Our client is managing a successful company that is predominantly managing hotels across UK. We are looking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to work in a cluster role managing the procurement and purchasing requirements for various locations.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is presently working in a larger hotel as Head of Purchasing and is presently based in the UK. The candidate must be responsible for the entire purchasing and procurement function within the company.

We are looking for candidates with following background:

  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in procurements and purchasing
  • Skilled in pricing & stock rotation
  • Have a strong network within suppliers across UK and Europe markets to source various products at best rates
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Able to compile a purchasing model for the entire group
  • Liaise with Unit Managers in order to understand individual purchasing requirements and build a best price matrix chart
  • Have extensive knowledge of digital procurement and ordering systems
  • Solid understanding of stock control
  • Knowledge of preferred supplier agreements & tendering applications
  • “Can Do” attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Strong personality wit leaders ship skills
