  • Candidate MUST have prior Asian or South-East Asian experience within luxury 5 star hotels / resorts - remote island experience will be a highly desirable
  • Managing production & presentation for a luxury remote location resort opening in 2nd quarter of 2018 in Indonesia
  • Resort will feature more than 5 F&B outlets and banqueting facilities
  • Single or Married candidates with no kids can apply for the role
  • Candidate must have pre-opening experience gained as a Food and Beverage Manager for high-end upmarket resorts and hotels
  • Candidate must be highly creative and has the ability to inject motivation and innovation in the team
  • Candidate must be hands-on and have a social personality to be able to mingle with the guests and service according to their needs
  • This role is open to Western candidates ONLY (European / Australian / American nationalities)
  • Candidate MUST be a Male applicant and should be no more than 45 years old
  • Candidate MUST have pre-opening experience
  • Candidate MUST have an exceptional Food and Beverage management background
  • Single or Married candidates accepted (no children)
  • Candidate MUST have developed and implemented innovative training and development program

 

Our client is opening a luxurious new resort in a remote location of Indonesia in 2018 and they are now looking for an outstanding Food & Beverage Manager to oversee their diverse Food & Beverage department.

 

Key Profile:

  • Must have at least 5 years experience as Food & Beverage Manager within upmarket resorts across Asia or South-East Asia
  • Must have pre-opening experience
  • Must be able to manage a multicultural team
  • Should be a very hands-on individual
  • Excellent guest contact skills
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Work with the Human Resources department for all HR needs
  • Sound understanding of various POS and PMS systems
  • Must be able to significantly contribute towards achieving KPIs and set goals
  • Should have a sound knowledge on Sales and Marketing to develop promotions on a regular basis
  • Able to train and coach the workforce and lead by example
  • Capable enough to work on cost control, budgets and supervise other required details of the department’s financial records
  • Showcase clear emphasis on quality and maintain excellent guest services at all times
  • Implement and benchmark brand standards
  • Remain in-charge of stocks and negotiate on contracts with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain and implement proper levels of hygiene and safety measures
