Our client is managing a luxury boutique resort in the Caribbean featuring 70 plus rooms and high-end food and beverage facilities including a busy events and functions center. To manage the overall resort, we are now searching for a young and dynamic General Manager who has strong experience in guest satisfaction, HR management, financial performance, sales & revenue generation, Food & Beverage, ROI management, and offer a highly personalised guest experience.
The resort is also expanding and therefore, the candidate must also have sound pre-opening experience.
Client will look at candidates who are currently a No 2 and who have a stable track record
Key Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to manage a team of dynamic individuals
  • Must display exceptional people and guest contact skills
  • Great leadership, leading from the front and on the floor
  • Strong F&B background required
  • Entrepreneurial management competencies
  • Strong marketing and financial management skills
  • Must be highly adaptable
  • Must be fluent in English and French – additional languages a plus
  • Be prepared for long hours and being on call 24/7
  • Must hold a relevant degree in Hospitality/Business management
  • Report to the Executive Chairman
  • Prior island/remote location experience essential
  • Prior project/opening experience essential
