Job Decription:

• To apply for this role, candidate MUST be presently working in Melbourne with a luxury 5 star hotel
  
• Candidate MUST have exceptional pre-opening experience especially during planning stages which include Design and Construction phase over to opening and managing operations post opening
• Start Date: Immediate
  
• Hotel opening is targeted for early 2020
  
• Salary: Up to $140,000 (Fully Negotiable on experience)
• Candidate MUST be presently working in Australia as a General Manager with a 5 star hotel or an ultra-luxury boutique property
  

Our client is a well-known hospitality management group based in Melbourne with presence across Australia. They are now opening a new 100 plus rooms hotel in Melbourne CBD which is due to open in early 2020. We are therefore searching for a dynamic and highly experienced General Manager who will proactively remain fully involved and focused on pre-opening of the hotel as well as manage it post opening.

Key Profile:

• 6-8 years experience as General Manager with steady background and extensive experience in pre-opening of new 5 star hotels in highly competitive markets
• Presently working as General Manager for a luxury 5 star hotel in Melbourne
• Ability to benchmark standards & services
• Flowing operational background with great business sense to grow the market share and develop decisive sales and marketing strategies
• Excellent training and development successes
• Guest focused & servicing clients with the certain WOW factor
• Training and hiring of the workforce
• A leader with the genuine mission and understanding to care for employee's welfare
• Strong organisational and operational skills and must be a natural leader
