Operations Chef - Luxury Five Star Hotel - GCC Region

Job Decription:

  • 5 star hotel in the GCC with over 350 rooms and more than 15 high-end F&B outlets
  • Salary: Up to US$44,000 Net + Expat Benefits + Accommodation + Bonus
  • Status: Single or Married
  • Candidate MUST be willing to sign a 2-year contract
  • Candidate MUST have experience for 5 star deluxe properties with large, high volume F&B production with at least 10 outlets and large banquet facilities of more than 2500 pax
  • Candidate MUST have multi cuisine knowledge including South-East Asian, Middle Eastern and European cuisines
Our client is managing a luxury 5 star hotel in the GCC region. It will offer high-end state-of-the-art accommodation and an exclusive range of more than 15 F&B outlets. To manage the overall kitchen activities at this luxury hotel, we now require the services of a well-experienced Operations Chef.

Key Profile:
  • Candidate must have worked for a five star deluxe brand as an Executive Chef for the last 3-4 years
  • Candidate MUST have excellent knowledge of South-East Asian, Middle Eastern and European cuisines
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in Middle-East or GCC countries will be a big advantage
  • Candidate MUST have strong passion and creativity to bring new initiatives to the menu with a clear focus on fresh produce
  • Candidate MUST have the ability to coach the local workforce
  • Candidate MUST have the ability to hire and train new staff as well as look after the various HR activities of the department
  • Develop brand standards and policies and procedures
  • Develop training manuals
  • Develop and engineer truly amazing menus and specials
  • Develop innovative strategies for building the F&B revenues
  • Chart budgets and have a realistic cost control plan implemented
  • Excellent leader and trainer
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Must be a great communicator
  • Good computer skills
