• Salary: US$48,000 Gross (15% Local tax) + Full Expat Benefits

Our client is managing an exclusive luxury resort in Seychelles. To oversee the island’s marine operations including ferry runs, cargo runs, guest excursions, dive operations, fishing excursions, vessel maintenance and small port operations, we are now searching for an internationally experienced Marine Manager.

Key requirements:

• Strong organisational and technical skills
• English plus one additional European language a big plus
• Prior international experience a pre-requisite
• Must be strong communicator, trainer and mentor
• Great guest contact skills as this is one of the Resort’s key host positions
• Relevant marine qualifications
• Must be experienced in multi vessel operation and equipment maintenance and management
• Must be computer literate and familiar with all relevant marine protocols

Main duties:

• Oversee the island’s marine operations including ferry runs, cargo runs, guest excursions, dive operations, fishing excursions, vessel maintenance and small port operations
• Team consists of three local captains and three staff
• Responsible for six dive/fishing vessels plus guest Hobi cats, small sailing vessels, etc
• Position reports directly to the Managing Director
