Our client is managing a very well-known and luxury hotel in Gold Coast. To manage the their exquisite kitchen operations with high-end functions and outdoor catering facilities, they are now searching for a truly passionate Executive Chef.

As Executive Chef of this luxury hotel, you will have a passion for fresh and seasonal food and will have the skills and knowledge to design and implement an exquisite menu featuring modern Australian and fusion cuisine. Your focus will be on delivering exclusive mesmerizing cuisine.

You will have full control of the kitchen and your team. You will be responsible for training and developing a team of chefs, stock-take and ordering, cost control and budgeting for the kitchen and of course preparing and serving top quality dishes.

Ideally you will have worked in well-known venues with a resume showing a stable work history.

Key Attributes:

  • More than 5 years' Executive Chef experience is essential
  • Must have hands-on attitude
  • Kitchen operations with team of up to 30 and functions for 500 pax
  • Must have strong knowledge of Modern Australian food style as well as various international fusion cuisines
  • Offer exceptional customer service
  • Implement safety and overall policies for kitchen operations
  • Design menus, develop promotions and train the team
  • Be responsible for stock take and ordering, cost control and budgeting for the kitchen
