• Property: Features more than 150 rooms and suites, large indoor and outdoor banqueting/conferencing facilities, state-of-the-art health and wellness facilities and more than 3 exquisite food and beverage outlets

Our client is a luxury international five star hotel in East Africa offering excellent modern accommodation, large indoor and outdoor banqueting/conferencing facilities, state-of-the-art health and wellness facilities and more than 3 exquisite food and beverage outlets. In order to manage the overall operations at this iconic property, we are now searching for a very dynamic and out of the box thinking Director of Operations.

Key Profile:

• Must have equally strong F&B and rooms background
• Strong corporate property history, no resorts
• Needs to possess stable background of at least two years in last two positions with outstanding references
• International five star brand experience a pre-requisite
• Overseeing a multi-cultural team of 300+
• Must be systems/process oriented and very hands on
• A great communicator with excellent guest contact skills
• Ability to network with the city’s movers and shakers
• Must have held a similar position or number two role for the past two years
• Ideal candidate will come out of similar role in Hilton, Marriott or Hyatt
• A professional through and through who knows hospitality at its finest
• Great attention to detail with excellent operational standards
• A business mind who is financially very astute
• Comfortable interacting with high end clientele and Forbes 500 CEOs
• Prior African exposure an advantage
